It depends on the size of the project and the workload, but a finished site usually takes three to six weeks. I write and edit all copy unless we agree otherwise.

The starting prices cover most projects. Four things can push them up, and you know which of them apply to you before you sign.
Five pages and fifty pages are not the same project. The number of page types matters more than the number of pages.
If there are images and copy worth keeping, the work gets shorter. If I write everything and source the imagery, it gets longer.
A booking system, a shop, stock or accounting that has to talk to the site is its own job and is priced separately.
Icelandic and English side by side is double the copy and double the editing, not just a translation.
recall pricing
The figures here are starting prices. I go through the project with you, send you a fixed price, and start no work until you have accepted it. It does not move afterwards unless you ask for something that was not in the agreement, and you get the figure for that first.
No, every price on this page excludes VAT. Businesses reclaim VAT, so the figure written here is what it actually costs you.
No. You can buy a site and look after it elsewhere. I recommend the plan because a site nobody maintains ages badly, but it is your call and the price of the site does not change either way.
None. Cancel with a month of notice and take your site and your content with you. I do not keep clients with a contract.
Usually yes, but not always. I look at how it is built and tell you honestly whether taking it over is worth it or whether starting again is. If the answer is that it is fine as it is, I say that too.
No, and nobody can. What I can do is make your site readable to machines, measure where you stand, and measure it again every month so you can see whether it moves. I sell the work and the measurement, never the placement.
